U.S Blast Iranian boat

BREAKING: The U.S. military carried out strikes on Iranian missile launch sites and boats allegedly attempting to deploy naval mines, according to U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM).

CENTCOM spokesperson Capt. Tim Hawkins said the operation was conducted as a “self-defense strike” after an Iranian missile launch site reportedly targeted U.S. fighter jets.

“U.S. forces conducted self-defense strikes in southern Iran today to protect our troops from threats posed by Iranian forces,” Hawkins stated.

Officials said the targets included missile launch sites and Iranian vessels attempting to place mines in strategic waterways.

“U.S. Central Command continues to defend our forces while using restraint during the ongoing ceasefire,” Hawkins added.

Reports also claim several IRGC marine vessels involved in the operation were destroyed in the Strait of Hormuz.

The situation continues to develop as tensions remain high in the region.
